Privacy Policy

GCDM Limited ("we") develops and operates the Turtle Soup app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can delete it.

What we collect

Data created without signing in

• Device identifier: a random ID generated on your device at first launch. It contains no name, phone, email or advertising identifier and is not tied to your account. We use it to tell devices apart for saving progress and statistics — not to identify who you are.
• Gameplay records: game start/end, how many questions and hints you used, whether you solved it, room create/end. These contain only puzzle IDs, room IDs, counts and durations — not the text you type.
• Questions you ask the host: the content you type or speak is stored, used to judge correctness and to improve judging accuracy.
• Puzzles you create: the title, setup and truth you submit. If you choose to publish, other players can see them.

Data only after you sign in

• Email address and account ID: obtained when you create an account via email code or Sign in with Apple. With Apple, you may hide your real email; we then only receive Apple's relay address.
• Purchase records: when you buy credits, Apple handles payment and we receive the transaction ID and result via RevenueCat, recording your credit balance and transaction history under your account. We never see your card or payment details.

Data only after you enable notifications

• Push token: the push token Apple issues for your device. If you turn off notifications in Settings, we keep the record but mark it disabled and stop delivering.

What we deliberately do not collect

• We do not collect your location.
• We do not store your audio (see "Voice input").
• No advertising identifier (IDFA), no cross-app tracking, no ad or attribution SDKs.
• We do not store your IP address. To prevent abuse we salt-and-hash it one-way to count hourly requests only; the raw IP is never written to the database and the hash cannot be reversed.

Voice input

When you ask by voice, iOS system speech recognition converts audio to text. This transcription is performed by Apple, and the audio may be uploaded to Apple's servers, subject to Apple's privacy policy. We neither receive nor store the audio — only the final text, and only after you confirm it.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data. These providers process data while powering our features:

How long we keep it

Account data is kept for the life of your account. Gameplay records (events) are kept for 180 days and question records for 365 days, after which they are automatically deleted. You may also email us to delete them sooner.

One exception: to stop people from repeatedly deleting their account and re-registering with the same email to claim the new-user credit bonus again, after you delete your account we keep a one-way hash of your email (which cannot be turned back into your email) and your device ID, used solely to tell whether this identity has already received the bonus once. This is necessary for abuse prevention and is not used for anything else.

Your rights

Email developer@totaunion88.com and we can: tell you what data we hold about your account or device; delete your account and its associated data; delete puzzles you created and published. When requesting deletion, please include your sign-in email; if not signed in, find your device ID in the app's Settings and include it.

Children

This app is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. For changes that expand collection, we'll notify you in-app.
